Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) is a chronic lung disease typically
occurs in very low birth weight (VLBW) premature infants when the tissue
of the lungs and larger air passageways are damaged as a result of oxygen
toxicity and ventilation early in life. These articles provide an overview
